Family-owned. Still here.
TFC Pharmacy & Compounding is an independent, family-owned pharmacy on Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles. Three service lines — specialty compounding, long-term care, and community pharmacy — run by the same people who own the place.
A neighborhood pharmacy that also does the hard prescriptions.
Most people meet us at the counter — a refill, a transfer, a question about an over-the-counter medication. But behind that counter is a PCAB-accredited compounding lab with a USP <800> hazardous-drug clean-room, and a long-term-care operation that serves skilled nursing, assisted living, group homes, and hospice facilities across South LA.
We're independent and family-run, which means the person who checks your prescription is accountable to you, not to a corporate schedule. It also means we can take the time a compounded formulation or a facility medication cycle actually requires.
Our team serves patients and families in English, Spanish, Armenian, and Russian — a reflection of the neighborhood we've been part of for years.
Six things you won't find together anywhere else nearby.
South LA location
A physical corner pharmacy on Slauson Avenue — not a mail-order address. Park out front and walk in.
Family-owned & operated
Independent, with the founders still running it. Decisions are made in the building, not in a boardroom.
PCAB-accredited compounding
PCAB accreditation for compounding and a USP <800> hazardous-drug clean-room, alongside a full long-term-care operation — a rare stack for an independent pharmacy.
Medi-Cal accepted
We accept Medi-Cal across service lines, alongside Medicare and most major commercial plans.
Four-language service
English, Spanish, Armenian, and Russian spoken in-house — for patients and for facility residents.
Full LTC service stack
Bubble-pack, eMAR feeds, monthly consultant pharmacist reviews, and routine + STAT delivery for facilities.
